Development and maintenance of test procedures, test cases and co-ordination of the development of test tools for PA tests.

n 2003 the WG released a test specification according to IEC 61158 („Test specification for PA-devices (Profil 3.0) V4.0“).

In 2004 the WG set up rules for IEC 61158 inrush current definition and created a test specification for PA/DP couplers.

In 2005 an amendment to the test specification for PA-devices regarding PROFIsafe for PA will be created. The test specification for PA profile 3.01 was reviewed.

In 2006 the WG will complete the test specification and test instructions for PA profile 3.01.
