Development and maintenance of test procedures, test cases and co-ordination of the development of test tools for DP Slave tests.

In 2003 the WG did the harmonisation of draft test specification V 2.1 with test specification for DP master and reviewed the draft test specifications for DP-V2 functions. It created the English version of test instructions for DP slave test and a concept for test instructions to automate test case generation for different test systems.

In 2004 the WG redesigned the test instructions based on formalised methods, integrated the test of I&M profile into DP slave test and
collaborated with WGs in TC3 for test of application profiles.
New base technology components were evaluated.

In 2005 the WG published the draft test specification for PROFIBUS DP Slaves version 2.9.8 and released the test specification for I&M Functions version 1.0.0.

In 2006 the WG did the maintenance of test instructions for PROFIBUS DP slaves, applied „Test Specifications for PROFIBUS DP-Slaves“, Version 3.0 and „Test Specifications for I&M Functions“, Version 1.1.1 for testlab business and created contributions for unifying test reports.

In 2007 the WG will maintain the test specifications and test instructions and handle test exceptions.
