All PROFIBUS International Competence Centers (PICC) are members of it. The goal of this WG is to improve the communication between the PROFIBUS International Support Center (PISC) and the PICCs by

• Collecting data and make it available to all PICCs about MinQoS and PICC reports
• Info-letters to all PICCs

In 2003 the WG started the first activities:

• PROFINET training (M. Popp)
• Validations of installations (D. van Booma)
• Structure of training certification (F. Birgel)
• PROFItech refresher and add-on (A. Verwer)

and defined Competence Areas for PICCs.

In 2004 a successful meeting was held with 31 PICCs participating.
First projects were started:
- PROFINET training scheduled
- Rules for certification of training started
- PROFItech refresher and add-on done
- Competence Areas of PICCs defined
The activities will be continued in 2005.

In 2005 a successful meeting was held with 29 PICCs participating.
All projects concerning training were moved to the new founded WG9, Training.
An updated version of MinQoS for PICCs was distributed.

In 2006 a great meeting happened in Winterthur (ZHW) Switzerland.
The WG looked for new technical solutions to get a worldwide uniform distribution of the information.

In 2007 the annual meeting will be in Beijing in september. Topics are internal and technical information.
