Definition and maintenance of test procedures, test cases and co-ordination of the development of test tools for PROFIdrive tests.

n 2003 the WG started writing test specification and test cases and set-up the preconditions for a PROFIdrive test tool.
Meanwhile the test specification for PROFIdrive is ready for review.

In 2004 the WG completed and verified the test cases PROFIdrive. It tested the test tool for PROFIdrive profile test and tested and verified PROFIdrive profile GSDs. A verification test of a testtool for PROFIdrive (Profile tester) was started.

In 2005 the first tests of PROFIdrive Profile devices were done, test and test system were optimized and the specification was adapted to profile version V4.0.

In 2006 the WG performed several tests at PROFIdrive devices, made first efforts to test PROFIdrive on PROFINET devices and worked at a test tool for PROFIdrive on PROFINET.

In 2007 the WG will update the tests according PROFIdrive profile V4.1, finish the test cases for PROFIdrive on PROFINET and complete the test system for PROFIdrive on PROFINET.
