In 2003 the WG released version 2.1 of Installation Guide PROFIBUS PA and Version 1.1 of Installation Guide RS485-IS.

In 2004 the WG was inactive.

In 2005 the WG supported the IEC Installation Guide 61918 and prepared RS 485-IS for maintenance of IEC 61158/61784.

In 2006 the WG will continue to standardize RS 485-IS in IEC 61158-2.
