Schwerpunkt der Präsentation „PROFIBUS & PROFINET - Solution Platform for Process Automation“ ist die einfache Handhabung der PROFIBUS-Technik als industriell bewährter Standard und deren innovative Benefits durch Diagnose- und anlagennahes Asset Management. Die Geräte der teilnehmenden Unternehmen werden in das Prozessleitsystem SIMATIC PCS7 und das Asset-Management-Tool FieldCare eingebunden.

Anhand der Gerätebeschreibungs-Datei wird die Integration der Geräte in die Systeme und die Funktionen sowie deren Diagnosemöglichkeiten gezeigt. Durch praxisnahe Use-Cases, z. B. Gerätetausch auf Profilbasis oder standardisierte, effiziente Diagnose werden die Geräte so optimal an der Multivendor-Wand präsentiert. 

Im Folgenden werden die bei der Präsentation „PROFIBUS & PROFINET - Solution Platform for Process Automation“ demonstrierten Anwendungen beschrieben. 

Standardisierte Diagnose

Es werden die Diagnosemöglichkeiten von Profibus bei unterschiedlichen Störungen/Ereignissen demonstriert; dabei können, je nach Feldgerät, verschiedene Ereignisse simuliert und visuell dargestellt werden. Hierbei steht der enge Bezug zur Namur NE 107 im Vordergrund. 

Gerätetausch im Kompatibilitätsmodus

Es wird die Ident-Nummer Adaption des Profils 3.02 und Profil 4.0 demonstriert und zeigt so die Vereinfachung des Gerätetauschs. Es werden zwei Geräte unterschiedlicher Version gegeneinander getauscht. Dies simuliert ein einfaches Device Replacement in einer bestehenden Anlage durch ein Nachfolgegerät.
Zurzeit findet ein Austausch von Alt- gegen Neugerät des selben Herstellers statt, denkbar wäre auch ein Austausch auf Profilbasis von Geräten unterschiedlicher Hersteller.

Gerätetausch des selben Geräts

Beim 1:1 Tausch der Messgeräte kann der einfache Austausch von „defekten“ Geräten demonstriert werden.
Das Szenario sieht dabei vor, dass ein identisches Reservegerät (gleicher Gerätetyp, gleich Software) zur Verfügung steht.

Gerätetausch auf Basis der Profil - GSD und EDD

Der Tausch des gleichen Gerätetyps unterschiedlicher Hersteller (mit unterschiedlichen Versionen) wird im dritten Anwendungsfall gezeigt. Dabei wird der Tausch auf Basis des Profils durchgeführt, z.B.: Gerät mit Druckprofil Hersteller A gegen Gerät mit Druckprofil Hersteller B.
Dabei können Geräte einfach und schnell ausgetauscht werden, auch wenn das Reservegerät nicht identisch mit dem ursprünglich eingesetzten Gerät ist.

Gerätetausch auf Basis der Profil - GSD

Der Tausch unterschiedlicher Geräte mit unterschiedlichen Versionen von unterschiedlichen Herstellern nur auf Basis der Profil – GSD wird im letzten Anwendungsfall gezeigt.
Gezeigt werden soll dabei, dass ein Austausch von Geräten unterschiedlicher Profiltypen, welche nur in der Art des Messwertes übereinstimmen (z.B.: ein Analogwert), erfolgen kann. Es kann also bspw. ein Temperaturmessgerät gegen ein Druckmessgerät ausgetauscht werden.
 

The focus of the presentation "PROFIBUS & PROFINET - Solution Platform for Process Automation" is the simple handling of PROFIBUS technology as an industrially proven standard and its innovative benefits through diagnostics and plant-oriented asset management.

The devices of the participating companies are integrated into the SIMATIC PCS7 process control system and the FieldCare asset management tool.The device description file shows the integration of the devices into the systems and the functions as well as their diagnostic options. Through practical use cases, eg. For example, device replacement on a profile basis or standardized, efficient diagnostics, the devices are optimally presented on the multivendor wall.

The following describes the applications demonstrated in the presentation "PROFIBUS & PROFINET - Solution Platform for Process Automation".

Standardized diagnosis

The diagnostic possibilities of PROFIBUS are demonstrated for different faults / events; Depending on the field device, different events can be simulated and visually displayed. Here the close relation to the Namur NE 107 stands in the foreground.

Device replacement in compatibility mode

The identification number adaptation of profile 3.02 and profile 4.0 is demonstrated, thus simplifying device replacement. Two devices of different versions are exchanged. This simulates a simple device replacement in an existing plant by a successor device.
An exchange of old and new equipment from the same manufacturer is currently taking place. A replacement based on the profile of equipment from different manufacturers would also be conceivable.

Device replacement of the same device

With the 1:1 exchange of the measuring devices the simple replacement of "defective" devices can be demonstrated.
The scenario envisages that an identical reserve device (same device type, same as software) is available.

Device replacement based on profile GSD and EDD

The replacement of the same device type from different manufacturers (with different versions) is shown in the third application. The exchange is carried out on the basis of the profile, for example: device with pressure profile manufacturer A against device with pressure profile manufacturer B.
Devices can be replaced easily and quickly, even if the backup device is not identical to the device originally used.

Device replacement based on the profile GSD

The exchange of different devices with different versions from different manufacturers based only on the profile GSD is shown in the last application.
It should be shown that an exchange of devices of different profile types, which only in the nature of the measured value match (for example: an analog value), can take place. So it can, for example, a temperature gauge to be replaced by a pressure gauge.
